Dental Health Week (5-11 August) has already attracted a significant amount of interest with a great article in The Herald Sun newspaper in Victoria on gum health, which is likely to have reached 4.34 million people. The article would also have been carried in publications such as the Geelong Advertiser, NT News, and The Canberra Times, extending the reach of Dental Health Week messaging on gum health even further.

Pacific Smiles shares tumble as $327m buyout plan fails


The $327 million buyout proposal by private equity firm Crescent Capital for dentistry group Pacific Smiles has been voted down by shareholders, with kingmaker Dr Alex Abrahams among those rejecting it. The rejection triggered an 8.4 per cent slump in the company’s share price to $1.85 per share by mid-afternoon on the ASX.
